INSTALLATION

When you commission Floor to Ceiling to carry out the design, manufacture & installation of your fitted furniture we will immediately arrange a fitting date to allow you to be available and to allow us time to manufacture.

Typically dates are 4 to 6 weeks from the point of order, however we can sometimes provide shorter lead times on installations that are completely made at the Sheffield site.

We can offer the following three separate fitting schedules.

The Regular Schedule

If your room is ready to fit and requires no work by a third party contractor e.g. a plumber or plasterer, we can agree a date with you to fit your furniture in the minimum possible time. An order placed on this schedule cannot be moved when the date of installation is within 21 days.

The Building Schedule

This schedule is ideal for clients who are relying on plumbers, builders & plasterers to complete their work on time. In our experience these trades often fail to meet their target dates which results in dates being moved or delayed. We have therefore arranged this second schedule, which has more flexibility, since we agree a date in principle but can allow for a few days slippage.

“Tomorrow’s not soon enough” Schedule

We occasionally design furniture that our customers say “we want it as soon possible.” If you need a quick date ask to be added to this schedule. The designer will give you a date on the regular schedule but notify you if we have any spaces that occur as a result of being ahead in manufacturing & installation.
